Former MALEVOLENT CREATION Drummer, Ex-SOLSTICE Guitarist Reunite In APOCALYPSE RISING

Ex-MALEVOLENT CREATION drummer Alex Marquez has reunited with his former SOLSTICE bandmate/guitarist Dennis Munoz in a new "power metal/early '80s thrash" band tentatively called APOCALYPSE RISING. The quartet, which is completed by second guitarist Willy Medina and bass player Mike Marabell, sees Marquez handling the vocal duties (the band plans to have a drummer for live performances while Alex will be recording all the drum tracks in the studio). According to Marquez, the singing will be "very melodic yet very aggressive." A debut demo is currently in the works. More information will be made available soon.
